Welcome to Old Markham Village
When people speak of "Old Markham" or "Main Street", this is generally the area they are referring to. It begins at the intersection of Hwy. 7 and Hwy. 48 (also called Main Street) and then travels north to Sixteenth Ave. This area is mostly known for its collection of old estate homes (like the one our office is in), shops and restaurant.
There are lots of small streets surrounding Main Street that have lovely homes on various sized lots. You'll also see some of the older homes on large lots being torn down and custom new homes replacing them.
If you'd like to see learn more about this area, We'd be happy to show you around. These have been our old stompin' grounds for years and we can share with you all the ins and outs. Send us an email or call our direct line at (905) 472-7155 and we'll be in touch quickly! (We know of a great cafe in the area and the coffee is on us!)

After hearing many friends rave about this new "raw" restaurant on Main Street, I figured it was time to give it a whirl. Well, I have to say that I was very impressed with most things.
Established as Markham Township in 1793, Old Markham Village was officially renamed in 1828. And in 2012, the Old Village is the perfect location for that savvy home-buyer in need of a stylish home with character.
